Oh sweet 70s, where have you gone? This is CAN, jamming, hanging out and talking.
I guess talking about socialism was all the rage back then. But regardless, I find it very true what Irmin Schmidt says in the end: Television (or, more generally, populist discourse) forces art to interprete itself when actually all art wants to ’say’ is right there in the artwork (music piece, painting, installation…). Populist discourse aims to fix meanings, so they become easily digestible. This simplification makes art loose all its potential. ‘Talking’ wins over ‘doing’, interpretation over practice, meaning over presence.
This is what pretty much everything comes down to for me right now, not at all only in the realm of art.

If you ask me, talking is absolutly overrated! Words in general suck!
